Pavia, Richard A. 80, October 19, 2010 after a long illness. Beloved husband of Helen C. (nee Chapin). Loving father of Richard P., Jeffrey C. (Joe Drantz) and Lawrence D. Dearest brother of Mary (the late Joseph) Murray, Tina (Donald) Fassero and Chip (Lois). Dear brother-in-law of Don (Ruth) Chapin, Betty (Jack) Hallier and the late Cliff (Rose) Chapin. Cherished uncle of 15. Fond great-uncle, cousin and friend of many. Veteran U.S. Army. Visitation Thursday 3 to 9 P.M. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago. All are asked to gather for the funeral service Friday, starting at 11 a.m. at Park Ridge Community Church, 100 S. Courtland; Park Ridge. Interment Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst. In Lieu of flowers Donations to Alzheimer's Assoc./ Greater IL Chapter, Great Opportunities A.D.S. of Skokie or Rainbow Hospice of Park Ridge are greatly appreciated. INFO: 773-736-3833.

? Looking for Additional Information on the life of Mr. Pavia ?
Is this the same Richard A. Pavia that was a professor of civil Engineering at IIT back in the '60's. I once took a course from Professor Pavia while at IIT.
