To the family and friends of Rich O'Brien, my deepest sympathy in your loss.
I never met Rich in person. My only contact with him was over the telephone when he would call with results of his interviews with our applicants. I now realize that he was about my age and we had so much to talk about during our brief conversations. What a wonderful man and I will truly miss his voice.

Dear Moira, Bill & Brigid,
Words cannot express the sadness I feel for you in the loss of your beloved father, and also a deep sadness for all who loved him! Just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
May Memories Comfort You. Memories keep the one you loved close to you in spirit and thought and always in your heart, today and forever.
Remember the good times you shared together, and hopefully, you can smile a little through the sadness!
I will miss his wicked sense of humor.
Thinking of you with HEARTFELT sympathy.

To the O'Brien Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Rich aka OB. We went to college together and knew each other for over 40 years. We always enjoyed seeing and spending time together. Even after years of not seeing each other, we could pick up at the next visit as though it were yesterday. I saw Rich at a wedding last time. We talked about our families and friendship. We talked about our parents and how we enjoyed visiting with each other's parents. We laughed about how as we got older we reminded ourselves of our parents! One of my most favorite memories of Rich will always be on St. Patrick's Day. It was a special day to him! One time he called me up and said do you have your "green" on today. I wasn't Irish, but I put on my green and Rich and I went to Chicago to see the St. Patrick's Day parade. He said come on let's march in it. We both marched in the parade, looked at the river they turn green every year, and went and had a few beers. I will miss him, and there is not a St. Patrick's Day that goes by that I don't laugh and think about Rich. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May your precious memories comfort you. Take Care..

To the O'Brien Family,
Dick was a very good guy with a wonderful personality. I have many great memories of him at his parent's, Mae and Chuck, home in Berkeley. We would have great outings there while I visit our cousin's the Weisenberger's home across the street.
May he rest in peace,
Respectfully,
John Barney Flanagan

Dear Tom, I am very sorry to hear about you Dad, he was a great man in so many ways. From picking me up when I broke my arm at Elm Park that one day back in 8th grade to letting us play with his old military stuff in your basement. Or even the countless sleepovers at your house when we were kids. I know I haven't kept in touch much but if you ever need anything, anything at all, give me a call. My parents know where I am.
Very Respectfully,
Nancy Steiner
