Richard Mondrach Obituary

MONDRACH Richard G. "Dick" Mondrach, age 80, passed away Monday, August 21, 2006, at the Largo Medical Center. Born 10/31/1925 in Cleveland, OH. Dick was a graduate of Garfield Heights High School, Class of 1943 and Kent State University. Dick was a World War II veteran Army Air Force pilot and later became a private pilot. He was employed as a mechanical contracting engineer in the commercial process piping industry and completed many large projects across the Midwest and a large project in Madrid, Spain. Dick spent many of his pre retirement years in the Columbus area where he was the Vice President of The Huffman-Wolfe Co. His hobbies included flying and travel and he was an avid golfer and former member of Brookside Country Club in Columbus, OH. He was never far from a golf course and worked as a starter part time at the Belleair Golf Club. Dick will be sadly missed by his many golf buddies and his family who shared his enthusiasm for golf. He is survived by his wife, Sue of Largo, FL; sons, Dennis of Toledo, OH, Gary of Deltona, FL and Matt of Mathews, N.C. He will also be missed by his grandsons, Dustin and Darin, and granddaughters, Crystal, Dawn, Lindsey and Chelsea; and two great-granddaughters. Dick was preceded in death by his younger brother Donald Mondrach and his older brother Edward Mondrach from the Cleveland area. The family will receive guests at the MOSS-FEASTER FUNERAL HOMES SERENITY GARDEN CHAPEL at 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774. Cremation Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2006.
