Richard Michalek Obituary

This wonderful man although gone these past 14 yrs. is not forgotten nor is his loving wife Margie, to whom I was her caregiver and friend. Both of them respected and loved by those who knew them.
Always and forever loving and fond thoughts of the MICHALEK Family.

You are still very much missed as is Margie your beautiful and loving wife & companion by all who had the pleasure of knowing you both.

Your FAMILY misses you the most surely but you left them with memories and a perfect example of what the word F A M I L Y means. Togetherness, sharing, respect for and showing love for each other in good times and bad.
And I actually smile & have wonderful memories whenever I think of your Family.

Although it has been several years since Richard's passing the memories of this kind gentleman linger within my mind. It is a wonderful tribute to him that I and others have thought of him often these last years.. surely his Family misses him but they should know how much he touched the lives of others that knew him...gone yes, but never forgotten..... I was very sorry to learn of Dick’s passing. However, I feel fortunate that I had an opportunity to work with him over a number of years. He was a wonderful person of great character who I admired both on a professional and personal level. While he will be greatly missed, his impression on those who knew him will live on. My deepest sympathies to all the family.

May our Lord give comfort and peace to the Family and friends of Richard C. Michalek. This world was and is a better place because of this humble, generous, intelligent and caring man. His legacy will live on through others because of the example HE set.

Jan and Linda and family...My deepest sympathy on the loss of your father. One of the best. Always the handsome and dapper Mr. Michalek. And the sparkle in his eyes, incredible. According to my mother, she had a crush on him, he was also the best dancer on the North Shore. Surround yourself with memories and family.

Grandpa I will miss you and will always remember the golf lessens and life knowledge you have given me. I can only wish I will become half the man you were. I love you and thank you for all you have given me.

Dick was a kind and thoughtful man who respected his employees and treated them like family. He always stopped to talk to people and ask how they were doing and showed real concern for others. I will miss his friendly chats and sparkling eyes filled with excitement and wonder for what the future will bring. He was a friend for 40+ years and will also be my friend.

My father saw the notice in the paper and wishes to express his sympathy to the family and offer his condolences, as he is unable to attend the visitation. He has fond memories of Dick and would like to send along warm thoughts and prayers to Marge. With love from her cousin, Duke

Dick Michalek will be remembered by me as an example of how success in life can be acheived while maintaining only the highest standard of honesty and integrity. A friend of mine for only 43 years has passed but will never be forgotten.

Dad, I will miss seeing the loving way mom looked up into your eyes. You were admired by many but most of all by the woman who stood next to you the past 64.
