James, Richard R. "Dick" August 6, 1929--January 13, 2007 Long Beach, IN, formerly of South Holland, IL, died Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 2:47 a.m. in St. Mary's Medical Center, Hobart, IN. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Keith McClellan officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Greenwood Cemetery Chapel, Chicago, IL, Chicago, IL at 12 p.m. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN. Richard R. "Dick" James was born August 6, 1929 in Chicago, IL, son of the late Russell R. and Rena (Wernsnam) James. On May 9, 1980, in So. Holland he married his wife, Edith "Edie" (nee Molnar), James, who survives Long Beach, IN. Also surviving are three daughters, Susan James and Cindy James, both of New Lenox, IL, Nancy Churchill of Grant Park, IL and step-daughter, Tracey Pagliai of Boca Raton, FL; seven grandchildren. He was the former owner of Dick James Ford, South Holland, IL. He was served in the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Navy. Great guy. My dad bought all his cars from Dick & I tore them all up. You have to have fun at Wampum lake, right! Anyway, Dicks family were very nice to know, back in the 70's/80's. Will miss him.
