HOOVER Richard Darnell Hoover, age 72, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2006 in Monticello, Fla. Service will be Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Monticello, Fla. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 6, 2006, 6-8 p.m. at BEGGS FUNERAL HOME MONTICELLO CHAPEL, Monticello, Fla. Interment will be in Blakley, Ga. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, Fla. 32308-5428 in his name. Richard was born in Helena, Ga. and was an insurance salesman with AIG and General Accident Insurance Companies. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monticello and a member of the American Legion Post #49 in Monticello, Fla. Richard is survived by his wife, Betty Joyce Melton Hoover; 2 daughters, Carol Sue Woods (John) of Dublin, Oh. and Tonya Gonzales (Frank) of Ruskin, Fla.; 2 sons, Richard "Rick" Hoover (Kim) of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Glenn Hoover (Anna) of Woodstock, Ga.; 3 grandchildren, Jesse Woods, Mollie Woods and Chad Southall.
