Richard Hevrdejs Obituary

I am a Eucharistic Minister at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago. I first met Richard and Louise when Richard was waiting for a new heart in the Fall of 1997. Since then, we have kept in touch by e-mail. I have seen him occasionally since then and even attended mass with him last December at Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica. We had a delightful lunch afterwards. I remember Louise getting such a chuckle out of my story of ordering food on the computer and upon noticing the bill to be exorbitant, I discovered I ordered 44 tomatoes rather than 4. Louise had such a hardy laugh and I often reminded her of that story just to hear her laugh. I loved them both very much. I think of them often and have many happy memories of them.
