Giniat, Richard Roy age 60, beloved husband of Loreen (nee O'Malley), loving father of Christine (Timothy) Lehman and Steven Giniat, devoted grandfather of Kathleen and Jacob Lehman, dearest brother of Edward (Leona) Giniat and Louise (William) Niehaus, dear son-in-law of Lorraine and Edward O'Malley. Visitation Sunday, 3 to 9 pm. Funeral Monday, 9:45 a.m., from Lawn Funeral Home, 7732 W. 159th St., Orland Park, to St. Michael Church. Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Mr. G was a father figure to me growing up. I will always remember the lessons he taught me and Chris...right down to making sure we knew how to change a flat tire, or not to speed over a hill in case police are on the other side. His quiet demeanor left a lasting impression.
