Gandy, Richard F. Age 36, of Plainfield, suddenly Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital with his family and friends by his side. Born in Melrose Park on November 24, 1979. Survived by his loving wife of six years, Kathryn "Katie" (nee Devereux); children, Tyler and Jonathan; mother, Pamela (nee Wagner) Gandy (Kevin Pottenbarger); three brothers, James (Kelly), Brian (Jill) and Bob (Brittany); grandmother, Thelma Wagner; mother and father-in-law, James and Barbara Devereux; brothers-in-law, Jim (Jennifer) Devereux and Patrick (Stephanie Millsap) Devereux; and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Alexander Wagner. Funeral Services for Richard F. Gandy will be held Monday, July 11, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Cremation Rites will follow services. Private inurnment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
