Ken Cygan Obituary
Ken Cygan (April 1, 1943-June 18, 2025) had a tough upbringing with an abusive father and a mother who fled the home. He spent some years of his youth sleeping in cars and otherwise scraping by. Only by the strength of his character did Ken avoid being killed, imprisoned, or sucked into the mob. Instead, he overcame his situation and become a valued construction worker and foreman, member of the Laborers Union, and active retiree who was taking hours-long walks every morning until a few months before his death from metastatic lung cancer. Ken met his wife, Margaret Taylor (1946-2021), bowling. They married in 1978 and enjoyed being together through the decades, including a move to Las Vegas in 2001. Ken gave Margaret loving care as she was dying. He will be greatly missed.
