Richard B. "Dick" Dolezal of Grayslake A funeral Mass for Richard B. "Dick" Dolezal, 78, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Mary's Church, Route 60 and Erhart Road, Fremont Center. Born July 30, 1923, in Chicago, he passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2001, at Winchester House in Libertyville. Entombment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, following the Mass. Mr. Dolezal had lived in Saddlebrook Farms for the past five years and was formerly a 40-year resident of Glenview. A veteran, he had served in Europe during World War II. Prior to his retirement, Dick had been employed by the R.R. Donnelly Corporation in Chicago. He was a member of St. Mary's Parish in Fremont Center and a former member of St. Isaac Jogues Parish in Niles and the Glenview Lions Club. Among his hobbies, he was an avid golfer. Dick was the dearest husband and best friend of Annemarie (nee Cryns); beloved father of Mark (Pamela) Dolezal of Libertyville, Suzanne (Ron) Cromer of Palatine, Shawn Dolezal of Glenview, Michael (Marilinda) Dolezal of Arlington Heights and James (Mary) Dolezal of Cary; dearest "Opa" of Brian, Carrie (Manuel) Cortez, Zachary, Holly, Emily, Sarah, Kevin, Amy, Benjamin and Connor; great-grandfather of Alexis; and dear brother of Thomas (Barbara) Dolezal of Las Cruces, N.M. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville. Contributions in his memory may be made to the St. Mary's Church building fund.
