In loving memory of a wonderful person. I will love you and miss you always.

Miss you everyday that passes. Love you still.

I was on vacation for last 5 weeks and heard the news just today.

It was a shock to hear the news.

I worked with Rich for many years.

I always respected his ideas and his professionalism. He was always cheerful and a pleasure to be around. He always treated everyone with respect. His soul is in my prayers during this transition. His sudden death shocks me and I extent my sincere sympathy to his family and friends.

My heart is broken. My memories live on. Thank you so much for being in my life. I will miss you until the stars no longer shine. You were my joy, my happiness, my true love.

I worked with Rich for many years at our adjacent work areas, until my retirement in 1999. I always respected his ideas and his professionalism. He was always cheerful and a pleasure to be around. He always treated everyone with respect. His soul is in my prayers during this transition. His sudden death shocks me and I extent my sincere sympathy to his family and friends.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of Rich, he was a great human being. Rich and I go back many years and I agree with many of the others who have signed this book. He was always cheerful and a pleasure to be around. He always treated everyone with respect.



You are in my prayers during this difficult time and for the difficult times ahead.

I am shocked and saddened at Rich's passing. having been a former coworker for over 25 years, I will miss him tremendously. Knowing that he will not be around the people he loved and cared for, I offer them my sympathy and prayers. God Bless You Rich and your family.

My good friend Rich, after 30 years its going to be strange not to see that face and knowing smile. Someone you could count on to be himself and a great person. BlueCross will never be the same without Rich; I miss him already.

Rich touched our lives in his special ways. He will always be remembered.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Rich. It will be difficult to come to work everyday and not see him at all the usual places that we would cross paths. Many times he was the first person I would see in the morning walking into the building, and those became good days because of his wonderful attitude. There is nothing that I can say that will make this any easier but, take comfort in the fact that he has truly touched and left a mark on so many lives.

My prayers go out to Rich's family . He will be missed , In the 25 years of knowing him there was always a smile on his face and he was an easy person to joke with and laugh with. I am deeply sadden by your loss. May god bless you all.

Sorry for your loss. I knew Rich for a relatively short time, but long enough to aquaint myself with him and his saucy/no frils approach to work. He was very respected by me, and many others.

My deepest sympathies go to Richard's family and friends. His good humor, cheerfulness, and honesty will be missed, but remembered.

Until my retirement in 2001, I worked with Rich for many years. I always respected his ideas and his professionalism. He was a significant asset to our department and a valuable resource to HCSC. His sudden death saddens me and I extent my sincere sympathy to his family.

I was saddened to hear that Rich Desio passed away. Rich was a very nice person and always found a way to make you smile. I have had to utilize his knowledge so many times as he was always helpful and a hard worker. He will be missed by so many but not forgotten. Please extend my deepest sympathy.

HCSC will truely miss the bright smile and laughter of Rich. His smile always made me feel better.

I enjoyed working with Rich at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois. He always had a smile on his face and was full of life. Needless to say I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. May God be with his family and friends during this time of need.
