Bartnick, Richard V. age 81, beloved husband of the late Betty L., loving father of Deborah (Thomas) Hermes, Larry V. and the late Karen, dear grandfather of Hannah and Evan Hermes, devoted brother of the late Walter, Arthur and Leonard, fond brother-in-law of Emma, dearest uncle of Sue, Denise, Renee and Katie, caring companion of Carol Clemmons and her loving family. Funeral Wednesday, February 18, 12 noon from Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy (2 blocks S. of Touhy) Park Ridge to St. Paul the Cross Church, Mass 12:30 p.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation.
