Renzo Casciani Obituary

Casciani, Renzo J. Age 93 of Chicago. Beloved husband of 47 years to Anna, and 26 years to the late Gloria (nee Macri); loving father of Mary Ann Casciani, the late Catherine (Bill) Taken, the late Kevin (Karen) Casciani, and the late Michael Casciani; dear stepfather to Roberta Holden and the late Carol Switalski; proud grandfather of Samuel Renzo (Amber), Mark Joseph, Lena Marie and the late Anthony G. Tortorice, Kyle E. Casciani and also to family friend, Abby Bieschke; great-grandfather to be; dear brother of the late Sergio (Jeanette) Casciani, the late Anna (Mickey) Spencer and the late Eda Vlahos; fond brother-in-law of many; uncle and Godfather to many nieces and nephews. Renzo also had many friends throughout his lifetime. Renzo loved to socialize and play sports of all kinds, including softball every weekend. He was a member of the Italian Federation for many years. He enjoyed walking to the Library, telling old stories, especially of his days in the Navy during WWII. Renzo was a true lover of life and he did live it to the fullest. Renzo was loved by all, and will be deeply missed by his family. Visitation Thursday, November 9, 3:00-9:00 p.m., at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy. (2 blocks S. of Touhy), Park Ridge.
