In Remembrance of our Beloved Dr. Reginald V. Brown, Jr., especially on this Memorial Day weekend, i´d like to put you in my mind on the golf course with all your buddies especially your brother Leroy! You personally taught me all my administrative skills which I Carry me throughout my professional life. Thank you for being one of your top three when you needed Work done. You are the best boss in the world. You will forever be in my heart. I think our God for putting you on my journey on this side of Paradise.

Dr Reginald Brown you were truly an angel to our family. My brother Larry Stinson went to Princeton and Harvard Unversity because of your encouragement and your belief in him. Thank you you will truly be missed by many. Emma Stinson Larry Stinson class of 1978

Boss, I´m just sitting here watching March madness and thinking about you playing basketball and you´ll love a basketball and still missing you more and more and I days at CVS and what a wonderful staff and crew we had back in the 1970s. Thank you for making me the administrator I was in the teacher hours. Still missing you and talk about you often when I talked to Dolores Deasy.

Condolences to the family of Mr. Reginald Brown. Principal Brown was a great leader at Chicago Vocational Highschool, always demonstrating a professional example to the entire student body and creating an environment where students were encouraged to "....push for Excellence". Rest well Principal Brown, a job well done!

Reggie was truly a great guy and a gentleman. Good golfer and an even better friend. I always liked Reggie and liked him even more when i saw how well he treated my best friend Chando. They say that we may not always remember what our teachers taught us, but we'll always remember how they made us feel. Dr. Brown made a group of 7th and 8th graders, at Ruggles Elementary School, feel brilliant, proud and accountable for our actions at school and in the community. Several years ago he hosted a large group of students from the class of 1964 at his beautiful home. We were treated royally in an intimate setting, with he and his lovely wife; sharing great food, stories and warm memories. I'll never forget that day, or you, Dr. Brown. GOD BLESS you as you journey to forever.

What a wonderful principal! Reggie turned CVS into an excellent Vocational H. S. The "Real" CVS faculty under his leadership still meet yearly in part because he was excellent and great relationships were made. Teachers were never looking to transfer, because of poor leadership in the principal. He had the courage to be a real leader and great principal. CVS never was nor will it ever be the same without his leadership!

Please accept my condolences for the passing of your love one. Dr. Brown became a mentor of mine while principal of Percy Julian High School, and provided me an opportunity to pursue and excel in my career and educational quests. Lastly, may he rest in peace!

He made a difference!

He headed a strong administration during his tenure at CVS high school. His leadership is appreciated by faculty/staff and students. We were a proud group.

Heaven has another angel. I was saddened to hear of Dr.Brown's passing. I worked at CVS during the time he was principal. He was a great man as well as a great leader. He left his mark on this world in so many ways. Please accept my sympathy at this very sad time. God bless.

Dr.Brown was my 7th grade teacher. He took me to my 1st pro basketball game and mentored me thru some trying times. You will be sorely missed my friend and teacher.
