Regina Kania, 93, passed away June 15, 2022. Loving mother of Joseph, Eugene and the late Walter Jr.; proud grandmother of Christine, Vincent, Michael, Peter, Daniel, Mary Kate, Matthew, Margaret and great-grandmother of Sebastian; fond sister Herta Mitterer and the late Robert Soff; dear friend and companion of David Fairbrother. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Saturday June 18, 2022, at St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church 101 W. Loop Drive Wheaton, IL 60189. Please meet at church. So many happy memories with Regina while working and supporting the WWII planes of the Great Lakes Wing of the Commemorative Air Force at the Gary Int'l Airport. She was one of the most dedicated and hardest working people that I know. She was such a pleasure to be around. We will miss you much!!!
