Raymond Wagner Obituary

Wagner, Raymond Allan age 61, of Porter, IN, died Monday, January 24, 2005, at his home. Wagner owned and operated since 1969, Danish Maid Butter Company, located in Chicago, IL. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chesterton and The Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus in Rensselaer, in as well as a member of the Indiana National Guard. He was born March 2, 1943, in Monon, in the son of Raymond F. and Nellie M. (Vennekamp) Wagner, both of whom preceded him in death on November 30, 1968. He married Susan E. Hiatt who survives. He is also survived by sons, Jason A. Wagner of Porter, IN, Ryan P. (Paula) Wagner of Gainsville, FL, Matthew R. (Christina) Wagner of Valparaiso, IN, daughter, Susan E. Wagner of Porter, IN, granddaughters, Serena Marie and Kennedy Ray Wagner, brothers, Ralph (Ellen) Wagner of S.C., Ron (Jane) Wagner of IL, sisters, Judy (John) O'Neil of IN and Linda (Lyle) Lemme of IN and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2005, with Father James Meade officiating at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet Rd., Chesterton, IN. Visitation Friday, January 28, 2005, from 3 until 9 p.m., with Wake service at 6 p.m., at The Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN, 219-926-1330. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
