(retired 41 year employee of Airguide Instrument), beloved husband of the late Delores (nee Kowalewski), loving father of Robert (Carol) Shafis and Carole (David) Grono, fond grandfather of Ariel, Aaron, Matthew, Andrew and Michael, dear brother of Dolores Serio and Kenneth (Gerry) Szafasz, also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Services Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Entombment All Saints Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials to favorite charity preferred.
