I met Ray back in the 80's when he took his sons Rich and Bob and a bunch of their buddies, me being among them, smelt fishing.

Ray showed us the ropes how to string and manuever the netting, and lo and behold, after catching SEVERAL HUNDRED SMELT we'd have a fish fry feast right on the lakefront!

My condolences to the Purpura family during their time of sorrow. I want to thank them as well for being such good friends and nice people.

So long Ray, you will be missed by all who knew you. We all enjoyed the time we spent with you.

Uncle Ray told the best stories. I wish I could remember all of them. I'll miss him but now he is keeping my Mom and Dad company so that's a good thing. Love Dottie
