Ray was a very good friend and co-worker who we miss very much. He always looked after me on our watch and was there whenever you needed him.

Ray was always smiling. My shift ended, when Ray was starting his day. He always spoke highly of his wife, his children and his daughter s softball games. Ray really loved his job and was a great policeman. Ray and Ron gave me the nickname, two names. I made it my email address. Everyday I see my email, I think of Ray, Ron and Danny.
Thanks for the memories.

Mrs. Kosinski and Family,

Ray was on the watch that followed mine, I was a Sgt. in 004. Ray was always talking about his family, especially his daughter, that played softball. He and Ron Magro gave me the nickname, "two names", as I had a hyphenated name. I have used that nickname since. Ray always had a smile on his face and a kind word everyday. Ray, and you all are in my prayers.

My condolences to your family. Big Ray and I rode 3 wheelers at Calumet Park, 1970-73. I will always remember his big smile and his great laughter along with his huge appetite when we ate breakfast at Mary's Rest. on 101st Ave N. We were involved in several altercations at the park and Big Ray could always be counted on to be there. Even though I haven't seen him in the last several years I will always remember him as a good friend.

We were very saddened by the death of our old friend and co-worker, Big Ray.

Ray was a generous and kind person who always looked out for his fellow officers. You could always depend on him. Ray could teach you a lot and was happy to do so.

Ray will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Ray will be in our prayers, and so it will be with his family who will need strength to carry on for the next few days.

Ray, may you rest easy now secure in the knowledge that you touched many lives here on earth, and will continue to do so until we are re-united in heaven.

May you be blessed for all you achieved for so many, and the wonderful impact you have made on them.
You will not be forgotten for being the friend and family man that you demonstrated your entire life.

Again Ray, thank you for being there!
