Beloved husband of Valerie (nee Bober), devoted father of Kelly Ray (Eric) Underwood and Raymond Thomas Jr. "Buddy", cherished grandfather of Trevor, McKinley, Ty, and Morgan Underwood, loving son of the late Charles "Tex" and Stelle, fond brother of Annette "Cookie" Gerger-Palubin, Barbara Adamski and the late Daniel. Val, Kelly and Buddy,

Dear Valerie, Kelly and Ray, Please accept my sincere condolences over the loss of your husband and father. I saw it in the paper today and am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. It doesn't seem that long ago that I worked with Ray at High Point School. When I really think about it, it was a long time ago! He always had a smile for the teachers in our wing and I always appreciated that. Of course, having both Kelly and Ray in my classes was an added plus. I recently retired from Dist. 135, but have many fond memories of all of you. Please know that you are thought of fondly.
