Raymond Capitanini Obituary

Over the years Mr. Capitanini became a generous supporter of Leo High School. I looked forward to the uplifting, encouraging notes that accompanied his donations as much as the donations themselves. He was a wonderful man who lived a remarkable life. Safe home,. my friend.

Dear Ray,

You are the ultimate Renaissance man! Kind, brilliant, worldly and generous barely scratch the surface of the man you were. It was an absolute gift to be part of your circle and I am left with nothing but endless memories of good times, great meals, and thoughtful conversation. You will be missed for your wit, strong opinions and knowledge on so many subjects. You were cut from a cloth that very few are.

May you rest in peace. Hopefully you danced your way into Heaven and left the crowd cheering! Give John a big hug from me!

What a beautiful tribute celebrating Mr. Ray's love for life and people. I never had the privilege of knowing Mr. Ray. I wish I had. But I did get to hear about him from my husband, Josè Torres. He oftentimes brought home articles Mr. Ray left for him. I always enjoyed reading them, and looked forward to the next one.

I know his kind and loving soul is in heaven with Mr. Frank and all those he loved and missed. May he rest in peace.

I pray that God will help Mr. Ray's family through their grief.
