We Celebrate the life of Raul Vergil who passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband for 53 years to the love of his life, Maria del Carmen. Devoted and loving father of Rocio Vergil, Myrna Vergil, Violeta (Arieh) Flemenbaum and Raul Vergil. Proud grandfather of Karina, Gabriel, Sofia, Natalie, Violet, Daniela, Isabella, Mateo, Maya and Logan. Dear brother of Yolanda (Rogelio), Maria Elena, Rafael (Beatriz) Esperanza (Marcelino), Margarita (Octavio) . Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Maria de Jesus and his brothers, Ramon and Ruben. Raul was the owner of Rocio's Chidren's Wear with locations at 26 th and Trumbull and 70th and Pulaski. Raul was not defined by a job or title, but rather by the way he conducted his life and the joy he brought to so many. He lived every day as a never-ending celebration and made each person feel as though they were his favorite. Visitation is on Wednesday from 4 PM to 9 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave.(55 th street just west of Harlem). Visitation Thursday from 9 AM until time of Prayers at 10:15 AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to St. Richard Church for an 11 AM Mass. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
