It´s been 22 years since you have passed and there isn´t a day that goes by that I don´t think of you! Ellie Lynne graduated college this past weekend and you would be proud to know that she is going to become a teacher. Mikey will wrap up his Paramedic school this summer and become a firefighter full-time. You would be so proud of the way Mike and I have raised our children! I miss you so much!

Dad,

I just want to take this time to thank you for all of the most amazing memories you gave me and for the 11,683 days you were part of my life. Everytime I get sad I just remember that I am one of the three luckiest kids on the Earth to have had you as my dad. Everything could be taken away from me and I will always have the most incredible memories. Thank you for being the best father to Gay, Brad and myself. Thank you for being the most loving granddaddy to Buck, Cale, Kirker, and Ellie. Thank you for being Tazzie's best friend. Thank you for pursueing mom. Most importantly, thank you for being you!!!!! I love you and miss you more than words can ever say!! Love,

Your Toots

Dear Handy Andy Randy, I woke up this morning and started to get ready to say good-bye to you which was no small task since I wasn't ready to do that yet. But I thought, if I'm going to do it I will do it right so I popped in a country CD and blasted tunes I knew you would like all the way down the highway. What makes this all so hard is that as long as you were on this Earth, time stood still for me. I was just a kid sitting on the front porch selling lemonade and you were the grown-up walking home from the train. But now I have to be the grown-up. Yet somehow that's ok because you were a great teacher. You taught me about hills and boats. You taught me how to bake potatoes in a fire pit and even fools gold. You also "tried" to teach me to skate and ski but I guess no teacher is perfect!! And you sat patiently while I tried to teach myself how to make those ornaments go in different directions.(if you know what I mean!) You taught me about respect and honor and what it meant to be true to your word. You taught me that all men weren't scarey. And most importantly you taught me about family - about how it should be, because you were the closest thing to a father I've ever had. For this I thank-you because it taught me how I wanted my own kids to be raised. I may not have seen you for quite a few years but believe me you never left me. For forty-one years I've had a friend in my heart - now I have an angel. I suppose I never told you I loved you but I also suppose it's not too late since now I know you can hear it. I love you Randy and my world is a much better place because I knew you. Kerry
