Barth, Randall Robert

Randall Robert Barth, 70, of Cicero, IL died on May 7, 2022 after a long fight with lung cancer. Randall was a devoted husband and father, and a lover of music. He met his wife, Nancy, at Illinois Institute of Technology, when he helped her buy a guitar. They were married on October 13, 1973. Randall led a folk mass for over 40 years at St. Frances of Rome. He loved learning about technology. He frequently volunteered his time at St. Frances, setting up the school computer lab and network, helping with business administration, and supporting the school's annual fundraisers. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Joan, and daughters Samantha and Elizabeth. He leaves behind his wife Nancy, children Bradford, Douglas (Erin), Devin (Ashley), Genevieve, and grandchildren Persephone, Daphne, and Quorra. On Saturday. May 14, 2022, he will lie in state at St. Frances of Rome Church, 1500 S. 59th Court, Cicero, IL from 9:00 am until the funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Private burial afterward. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org and Helping Hand Illinois in his name are appreciated.
