I was trying to find Maria, Calista, and MiMi. I used to live upstairs from you all. I have wondered over the years how all of you were. I am so sorry to hear about your dad. My dad passed in 1988 and my mom in 2017. Tell your mom I am so sorry to hear this. If you would like to get in touch with me I am on fb. Bren

Although it has been decades since I have seen Mr. King, what stays in my mind are his eyes and his smile. His eyes always seemed to shine and seem as if they were laughing. I was a goofy kid, so maybe he was privately laughing at me! And his smile was genuine, making you really feel he was happy to see you and was glad you came by. What I feel he leaves behind is the legacy of family. Although only a friend of his sons/nephews, I always felt welcome and a part of the King family - in fact, feeling more of a part of this family than my own! To his surviving family: "May friends bring you comfort and time bring you peace."
