My sincere condolences to the Slutkin Family.
I was very sorry to read of Ralph’s death in the Tribune. I shared a laboratory with Ralph at the Durkee Foods Division of the Glidden Company from 1962 to 1964, when the organization moved to Ohio. Ralph and I had many interesting discussions – and lots of laughs as well – during that time. There is no doubt that his family was uppermost in his thoughts – he spoke often of you, Ethel, as well as of Gary and Huey. Ralph was interested in everything and everybody and was truly a good man, in every sense of the word. I’m sure that you’ll miss him deeply. May he rest in peace!
