To Ralph's partner, Bill Frederick - We are so sorry for your loss. We read the Chicago magazine article about the two of you in the June 2004 issue and immediately wanted to contact you. Coincidentally, we came across Ralph's obituary recently and made the connection and felt so sad. Please know that we are a similar couple who wished that we could have been friends. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you out. Our thoughts are with you in this difficult time. Nan & Linda

You will be missed by all that you touched in a life too short but lived to the fullest. It was an honor and a pleasure to have spent the time that I did with you, and I will miss you. On behalf of my entire family I say thank you for being a beloved friend Ralph.
Will a sad heart I say good-bye.
