I LOST THE GREATEST MAN IN MY LIFE FOUR YEARS AGO, AND NOW THE GREATEST WOMEN IN MY LIFE IS GONE TOO. WHEN I THINK OF YOU EVERYDAY, I WILL SMILE AND LAUGH REMEMBERING ALL THOSE DAYS WE HAD TOGETHER AND TRY NOT TO CRY FOR MY LOST AND SORROW, BECAUSE I KNOW THAT YOUR HAPPY NOW THAT YOUR WITH WELLO. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE. YOU TOOK A PART OF MY HEART WITH YOU WHEN YOU DIED.OUR FAMILY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU BOTH.

Dear"Grandma" Rafaela,
I will always remember your wonderful beans.Growing up, your home was the next best thing to being at Grandma Sanchez's. When holidays would come by, and we could not make it to Michigan, we always had a place with you and your family. Every year I will think and pray for you as I decorate my Christmas tree with the beautiful knitted ornaments that both you and Grandma Sanchez have created. I love, and admire you ladies so much. Your legacy is unmatched. I pray your family NEVER looses sight of all you have stood for.

I will always and forever remember you as the grandmother that I never had known. Though we were not related by blood, you will always be that to me. I will never forget every Christmas shared together as I played Santa for the family. I love and miss you. And I leave you with these two words that we shared love for "GO CUBS!"
