Douglas beloved husband of the late Margaret Fraser (nee McDonald), loving father of Denise (George) Fraser-Vaselakos and Joan (Lou) Scannicchio, dear grandfather of Douglas (Patti), Mark (Erin), Isabel and Emma, great-grandfather of Ava Margaret and Zoe Martha. Visitation 2 to 9 p.m., Wednesday. Funeral service Thursday, 10 a.m., at the John Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 7020 West 127th St., Palos Heights. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South. In lieu of flowers, donations to New Mom's For Homeless Teen Mothers, 2825 W. Dear Denise and Joan,
Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your Dad. He was a kind and generous man.
Tuesday, as I was driving on Ridgeland, I passed the Church at 90th Street and your Dad, as well as your Mom came to my mind. I was so sorry to see on Wednesday that Dad had died.
My prayers are with you and your families.
