Réal Bolduc Obituary
Réal Bolduc, 80, of Westbrook (formerly of Guilford and Palm Bay, FL) died surrounded by his family at Middlesex Memorial Hospital, Hospice Unit, on June 30. A devoted husband and father, he is survived by his wife Emilie Acampora Bolduc; his children Edward Bolduc and his partner Diane Smith of Ivoryton, Toni Benoit and her husband Willi-Jean Benoit of Old Saybrook, and Teresa Bolduc of Lansdale, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren Anthony, Edward, Michael, and Joshua Bolduc of Deep River, and Will Benoit of Clinton; and great-grandchildren Emilie and James Bolduc. Besides his wife and children, he is survived by his siblings Jean-Guy Bolduc, Normand Bolduc, Marie-Paul Lamothe, Gisèle Bolduc, and Carmen Bolduc. He is pre-deceased by his parents Valere Bolduc and Rose Anna Marois Bolduc; brothers Fernand, AngeAmy, and Laurier Bolduc; and sister Claire Beaulieu. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 478 for 30 years and worked for D.V. Frione, Blakeslee, and Schiavone Construction Companies and New Haven Drywall.
Funeral services will be held at Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford on Tuesday, July 6 at 10am. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave, North Haven. Friends may call on Monday, July 5 from 5 – 8 at the Guilford Funeral Home. Contributions can be made payable to “Middlesex Weiss Hospice Unit” and mailed to Middlesex Hospital, Office of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT 06457. Please note in the memo section of your check that the donation is made in memory of Réal Bolduc. I will always remember when my parents said let's go to Connecticut to see my uncles. Especially once, when my uncle Real had goats and a big goose what wonderfull souvenirs. All my thoughts and my prayers are with my aunt Emilie and also my cousins. One thing for sure, mon oncle Real will be watching over us.

to pop, ill always remember how we used to bug you to take us for a ride in your old ford truck. we would wait in the driveway for you to get home from work, and no matter how tired or hot or busy you were you would take the time for us and drive us up and down the driveway. i love you pop
