It is with much sadness that I think about your lost. I had the pleasure of meeting you at the House of Hope. You told me that my Mother was worrying Jesus constantly to give me a transplant. I am I my 8th year since I received my heart. Thank you for all you do.

I just saw you on stage yesterday evening with Stevie Wonder here in Los Angeles when he said your son passed away recently. I had the pleasure of being in a voiceover class with Quinn this fall at Columbia. He was an incredibly sweet guy who truly came to own his voice and his talent over the semester. The radio department, the voiceover community, and the world has lost a wonderful personality. Dear Theresa and Dwain...it has been many years since we crossed paths at Children's when our son Brian and Quinn were both spending their beginning lives there. I have kept track of him through the years as some of Brian's friends and our neighbors went to Whitney and again at Columbia where I have friends who teach. Always, always you have remained in our thoughts and prayers. This is just heartbreaking news. I will alway remember your fierce love for your boy and it seems that the deep sacred love was manifest in him and emanated to others. That was and is his gift. Dear Theresa, I was so happy to see you just last year at the National Black Law students award dinner in Milwaukee. I remember like it was yesterday your fight to save Quinn's life as a baby. Quinn was a student of mine in Voiceover 1 this past semester at Columbia College. I just learned of his tragic accident and my heart could not be heavier. He was a soulful young man with a gentle sensual voice (the ladies loved to hear him on the microphone! :)) and was just a lovely person to have in class. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends--he was a beautiful spirit and i will miss his stunning smile. God bless you all in your time of great loss.

Like so many others at NAR who were drawn to Quinn by his charm and warmth I am deeply grieved by his unexpected death, but I feel very fortunate and lucky to have known and worked with him. The world has lost someone very special.

Quinn was a wonderful person and I know you and your family have suffered a great loss.
