I met Quentin at S&C. He always had a smile and a kind word for the "young engineers." I have only good memories about working with him. My condolences to your entire family.

January 5, 2010

Quinn was a very special person to me and we had a special bond. Even though I had not spoken to him in several years, he was in my thoughts often. Our times at S&C together were great times. He was one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I have ever known. My prayers are with all of his family.

Dear Wherfel family, I and the twenty four active members of the Romeo breakfast club, of which Quinn was a member, will miss our friend very much. He was the kind of guy that we always enjoyed being with. Just as we did when we worked with him at S&C. He was one of the "good guys" and we will Remember him forever.

Dear Mimi and Glen...forgive my tardy response...I have been down with the flu.
I extend my deepest sympathy to both of you....life is so precious...you just never know...if we could
just remember that when we are feeling/acting less than loving. I am sure your dad knew you loved him
very much.

Dear dad,

I already feel the void in my life. You were my moral compass while growing up; you provided a standard for personal conduct, although sometimes difficult for me to follow. You showed me the benefit of helping others without expecting personal gain. You made me laugh; you consoled me if I cried. You taught me commitment to achieve a successful end, and I learned satisfaction from the hard work getting there.

I shall miss you deeply , and love you always.

Karen, Glen & Families,

I worked with your dad at S/C for 30 years....we enjoyed being with both your mom & dad. Quinn never had a bad word to say about anyone.....he worked with a smile. We will remember them both fondly. We extend our deepest sympathy.

Dear Quinn,
I know you are heaven with the love of your life Doris, "FINALLY"... I bet you are saying! You were a remarkable father-in-law, and I'm going to miss your good- nature immensely!
I hope you watch over us all, but particularly 'the boys', and any divine guidance you wish to share... we will be listening~
Thank you for the wonderful-treasured memories, and for being such an inspirational role model to my Glen -you're simply the BEST!

My condolences to you and your families. Quentin is now with his beloved Doris and is smiling once again.

Thanks for the many memories. Our childhood was so much better with you in it and I will see you again some day when you can knock the sweat off my hair.

December 30, 2009

Dear Glen,
We are very sorry for your loss, though your Dad will no longer suffer. I can't help but remember last week when we went to see the Pirates of Penzance. I asked you what part your Dad played and you said the Police Sargeant. He was a strong, dutiful character as was your Dad.
Loyal to the family and to his country, always a soldier. Love, Kathy

Dear Glen,
Your Dad was a great guy. I really enjoyed talking to him about drafting and tool design. He loved singing, his church, God and Country. I will remember him as a good man. He will be in our hearts and prayers.
Friends always, Pete
