My grandfather was a lion of a man. He may have lost his life to Alzheimer's but he prevailed before he lost. He lived more than twenty lives in a little over 70 years. He made everyday an adventure for his children and loved my grandmother to the core of her being. As many know, someone like Pinky is one out of million and he was the best grandfather. And it shows. Over 200 people were at his funeral. I'm sorry he had to leave this way but he can surely rest in peace. I love you, Baba.

Pinky was a tower in my life and my family's life, from my father to my daughter, he fixed my car and helped us organize Rosie's Bat Mitzvah and did everything around Shaare Tikvah all those years. I'm certain that Pinky and Russell are organizing a Chever group in heaven right now!

I simply want to send condolences and add a few words about the wonderful man that Pinky was. It seems like it was impossible to lose such a leader, fun loving and good hearted individual. We knew Pearl and Pinky as young parents and have some wonderful memories of those long ago days.

Pinky is so much a part of my growing up on Kimball Avenue that I have many wonderful memories of him. He would take all of us kids to ice skate in the winter at Hollywood Park. My family would go to watch him play soccer at Eugene Field. Our families would summer together in Michigan City. I remember how red he would turn from eating the horseradish at our Passover seders. Pinky even negotiated the purchase of my first car for me. I am so very sorry he is gone, but for me, he will always be a part of that special time in my life.
