Ruder, Phyllis 93, (nee Singer), beloved wife of the late Melvin, adored mother of Annette (Marty) Abramson, Burton (Linda), Dr. Robert (the late Lois), Lawrence (Diane), loving grandmother of Mindy (Michael) Garlin, Alan (Rhonda) Abramson, Michele (David) Bernstein, Joanna (Scott) Slavick, John, Dana, Michael, Alexis, Erin, Justin and Jessica Ruder, loving great-grandmother of Bradley, Marisa, Nicole, Halle, Elena, Daniel, Lucas and Spencer. Beloved sister of Shirley (Jerry) Braun, Ethel Richmond, the late Mildred (George) Spero, Ira (Goldye) Singer, Olive Singer and Sylvia (Morrie) Bloom, loving sister-in-law of late Pearl (Sidney) Rosenberg, Bertha (Milton) Laff, Muriel (Paul) Paradise, loving aunt to many and loving friend to many more. Funeral service 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at B'nai Torah, 2789 Oak St., Highland Park. Interment Shalom Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
