We were newly married when we moved into the apartment across the hall from Phil, on Normandy. His kindness and generosity helped us ease into our married life, especially when the blizzard of '79 hit and we were literally holed up in our little apartment for days on end. The wonderful cooking Phil would do for us made us want another snow storm! When Bob was taking his boards for dental school, Phil would have dinner ready for us when he heard us come home. I remember Bob being in dental school, and Phil and I at Wrigley Field in the right field bleachers. It didn't get much better than That. He was generous with his knowledge of the law--I learned a lot from him. We lost a wonderful man, and we hope he rests in peace.
