Funeral was held in New York, August 5, 2003, beloved husband of Rose (nee Taubenfeld), loving father of Sammy, dear son of the late Morris and Irene, cherished brother of Anne Schiff and the late Ira Sokol. I was one of your late brother Ira's friends; from Minyan Sheni. I am so sorry for the loss of your brother Philip. I remember, back in the day, Ira glowing when he would talk about his nephew Sammy.
