Phil was a wonderful mentor, friend, and colleague. I loved working with him at the Harris and enjoyed his thoughtful reflections on banking and the world. I know he will be missed by all who knew him.

What a Friend we have in Jesus. All our sins and grief to bear. What a privilege it is to carry everything to God in prayer. I extend heartfelt sympathy to Phil Delaney and his entire family in the passing of his father, Philip A. Delaney, Sr. I recommend the One who will be your refuge and strength...JESUS. My prayer is that you will look to Him for your source of peace as you drink this cup of sorrow. John 14:27 says, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you not as the world giveth give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid. Jesus said in John 11:25-26, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth andbelieveth in meshall never die.

The world will be a less cheerful and happy place with the absence of Uncle Phil. He is one of the most genuine, moral, sympathetic, hard working, and loving people I have met. He will be missed but always remembered
