John,
Here's the message I tried to send you on Friday:
I'm sending my you and your wife my deepest condolences today. I understand PJ's funeral is today and I just wish I could be there in person.
I don't need to tell you what a wonderful guy he was - he's your Dad! You know already. But he was my uncle and GodFather and will always have a special place in my heart and thoughts.
Please keep in touch and let me know if you come this side of the pond.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I am sure that my father is very happy now. He would have struggled to read these messages online while on this earth. Hopfully he can surf the internet much easier in Heaven. :-) John
