Memories with my mother will live on forever.

Every year this anniversary always breaks my heart. As I held her hand my mother ,my best friend faded into the night. I will never forget the feeling of watching her go. She was a very special person in my life and I will always miss her terribly. I Love You mom and will never forget you.

Mothers day will never be the same without my mothers love. May God watch over you & Bless your soul. You were a wonderful mother. Theres nothing happy on mothers day without a mother. love you and miss you mom.

Every day I think of my mother. She was a guiding light in the darkness. I miss my mother deeply. 6 years later and it still seems like yesterday. She was such a nice person. God please watch over her and remind her that I love her and miss her.

5 years now without my best friend. My mother was everything to me and it has been extremely hard without her in my life. My granddaughter will never get to see how much of a beautiful person she was, but for those that have met my mother will always have been blessed.

Another anniversary of your passing and it doesn't get any easier. I miss seeing and hugging you everyday. Me ,Ambar,Nena & Ley are doing well. Thank you for continuing to watch over us. God bless you. I love you Mom.

My mom was a very special person. She was caring and sweet and i thank god for all the time he blessed us with her presence. All the great times we spent together and life long memories i had with her could never be forgotten. The night God took her still holding my hand , is still the toughest day of my life. She was a beacon of light on the darkest of days and it's still hard to know i wont be able to walk into the house and see her smiling face. It's amazing to know how one person can make another feel so safe and secure. She was a boulder in a tornado that couldn't be moved. My mother Petra Rodriguez Cortez.... My Rock!!!

We miss you so much not a day goes by that the kids don’t say how much they missed you and wish you were here I sleep with your blanket every day and still after being washed still has your scent you truly blessed me and mine with your love and strength and cared for my line like if they were your own thank you and I will always hold you close no matter what! Our matriarch our heart our world we are strong because dog you!

It's another Mother's Day without you mom and it never gets any easier. I still miss seeing you every day and being able to hug and kiss you. It's really hard not having you around anymore. You have a beautiful new great granddaughter and she's growing strong. She will need your kind soul to continue to watch over her and keep her safe. I visit you often and share with you what is going on with the kids and I know you are watching over them and protecting them because I feel your strength in us...oh how we miss you and wish you were here...our family is growing and you see Toria had a little girl and she is your namesake Anais Petra...she is so beautiful and precious and I know you picked her to be with us...I love you Abuela more than life you were one in a million and we stay strong because of you...Oh yeah I was making rice the other day and Antonio said, "It smells like Grandma's house in here" I took that as a blessing and a compliment to cook like you...Love you until we meet again all my love Yvettie

Watching you those last days made me realize what and how you were a true blessing to the family. I will always remember how much of an impact you made on my life and when you retired how you stepped up for me and helped me raise my kids. But that was nothing new about you to share your love and home with family. I miss you and me and the kids will sit back and think about the blessings you gave us and all the love you shared and how beautiful you were. Grandpa misses you too so much...you were his best friend he said he came over for Easter and he said so many memories he has that he hurts but he loves you...I hugged him for you and said I miss her too Grandpa! On this anniversary of my moms passing, i will use the day to reflect on how much my beautiful mother made such a difference in so many people's lives. She truly was an angel and i thank God for her. God bless Petra Rodriguez Cortez.

My mother will always be a shinning light in many peoples lives and many people are better off having known her. Thank God for sending us one of his angels.

My mother was the greatest woman i knew.She was a woman with no hate,revenge or anger in her heart.Anyone who knew her,had a chance to see a very sweet and loving person.Her smile was contagious. She raised 10 kids of her own and helped raise many grandchildren.There is not a day that will go by that i wont remember the special memories i had with my mom.She was a great person, a beautiful woman and the best mother i will ever know. She will be sorely missed.I LOVE YOU MOM & WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.

Monday we laid my mom to rest. Even though shes gone she will live forever live in our memories and hearts. Especially when we eat arroz con gandules, aka red rice, because well always say good but not as good as moms thanks for everyones thoughts and prayers.
