Peter Troy Obituary

Mr Troy was my boss at Traffic Court in '98. Good boss, class act.

To the Peter J Troy Family

Peter was my supervisor in the Cook County State's Attorneys Office. He was a dedicated State's Attorney who stood up for his colleagues and the people who he supervised. I am saddened that Peter was not able to enjoy a long and healthy retirement and see the blessings and gifts of grandchildren. He was also a loving family man. He was a great boss and teacher. I am blessed that he was part of my career in the CCSAO. Our faith reminds us that we are reunited with our Lord and that he is also reunited with his wife of blessed memory Nadine Troy. His memory be eternal.

I worked with Pete in the State's Attorney's Office in the 80's. He was a fine lawyer and a great person. My deep condolences to his family.

It has been a privilege to be next door neighbors to Pete and his wonderful family for many years. Our fondest memories of a great person will never fade. Our heartfelt sympathy to Bridget, Katie, Jennifer and Andrea

Well Pete, it has been one week since you have left us, and I still can not believe that my big brother is gone. I want everyone to know how much I loved you and how much I wanted you to love me back. Memories of growing up with you will never fade.
Your girls are amazing, Bridget wrote you a heart felt eulogy that was beautiful. Kati lights up the room with her smile. Watch over them.

Pete was a prosecutor in my courtroom more than 25 years ago. His class, his manner and his professionalism are still remembered. I hope that he is celebrating his best St. Patrick's Day with the Lord. He will be greatly missed.
