Twice you visited Parishes I Pastored in the 1990´s for powerful Eucharistic Healing Services. I am age retired now priest, but living with cancer. I have your Priestly Anniversary Medal you sent me and a Holy Card of yours on my Home Altar where I offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Since my diagnosis a year now September 29th, I have not been physically able to assist at local parishes or answer requests for Service from former Parishioners I served these 41 years Ordained. Please Assist me with Heavenly Graces to accept God´s Will as it is now, or Granted the Healing Blessing to be able to fully serve as a priest again. I am 63 yrs old. I pray Fr Rookys prayer every morning before I get on a train to go to work. I pray not to lose my job. It's all I have in my life. I don't have friends or family. One day when the pray ended I looked out my car window and there was a cardinal sitting on a pole looking at me. I have seen a cardinal before. I know this was Fr Rookey telling me to keep going.

I remember the day my daughter was healed of anxiety after Fr Rookey anointed and prayed over her. It was an instantaneous healing that proceeded to get better and better over the months. I also remember calling the prayer line and talking/praying with him. It was a glorious, precious experience over the many years. My name is Johanna and he´d always tell me that his Mother´s name was also Johanna. There was a wonderful connection with this Holy man of God.

Fr. Rookey I have known for many many years, always helped me and spoke to him every day when he was at Olympia Fields, when he needed a helping hand to his dear Fr. There were so many healing's that day and that night at St. Boniface Church for your healings Mass and Service. I will never forget you and the love you showed towards others. I am so blessed to have known you and spend time with you on a Medjugorje Pilgrimage and be at your Anniversary and Birthday dinners. I attended your visitation and funeral. It was a sad day in my life. I touched your hand in the casket. It was warm and soft. Two other ladies said they felt the same. You were still there with us. Peace in Heaven in Our Lady's arms!

A group of 20 of us from Iowa we’re blessed to have met and prayed with you on Feb 13, 2009. You blessed our religious items, oil and salt. Thank you for all your holy service to the kingdom while here on earth. You left the day before my mom died on September 11, 2014. I hope she has met you in heaven. A true man of god

Fr Rookey was the instrument God used to heal my daughter Michelle who had suffered for a few years from debilitating panic attacks. Even getting her to the Church was for very difficult. When Fr Rookey prayed over her, she began to feel calm and that was the beginning of the healing. I loved to talk and pray with him over the phone when I would call for a prayer request. You are greatly missed dear friend on this earth but I know you are interceding for all of us. Praise God for you Fr Peter Mary Rookey!

There's no coincidences in life. My sister was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last December. Two weeks to live. I prayed your prayer that night and every evening since. My Jina is still here with us. Still a bit of cancer but I have faith. Last month I posted on your video from your friend Ray. Simple statement of ,'please heal my sister Jina'... I wasn't expecting anything. God sends Angels all the time. Ray is one of them. He sent us your Blessed oil and rosaries. We cried so hard. I KNOW that Heaven above is smiling down on my sister. I pray that you, Mother Mary, Saint Peregrine and Saint Michael are going to our dearest Jesus in favor of my dearest sister to heal completely. Please. You were such a beautiful soul Father. I include Father Peter Rookey in my nightly prayers and ask that he continue to pray for my family now that he is in Heaven and even nearer to Our Lord. We should never forget how Father Rookey has helped thousands during his time here on earth and always remember him as a dear friend in our prayers.

There is a void in our lives without Fr. Peter Mary Rookey. We loved him so. He became a part of my husband R.M."Pete Pohlman and my life when he came to Quincy, IL to the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes of Ghost Hollow at the spring on our property on Feb. 11th, 2002, for an afternoon Rosary Prayer Service. Prior to the service, he placed his crucifix with the seven Servite Saints inside a bag with about 65 small bottles of holy water from Lourdes France and blessed them by saying, "May this water be a source of healing for all who use it." There were various healings. That evening I arranged for him to have a healing Mass and Service at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Quincy. Many were slain in the Spirit and there were more healings. I first met Fr. Rookey on a pilgrimage with him in 1996. We have been blessed over the years to be in his presence for numerous occasions. His portrait hangs on our living room wall. I have many, many photos of Fr. and his event/parties.

I was supposed to get a vaccine for meningitis but didn't then I caught meningitis from the dorms in Chicago and I went to the healing Masses at Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica in Chicago, IL and was completely healed of meningitis. I thank God and Father Peter Mary Rookey. Also the healing Masses included Confessions with Servite Friars and that experience was also healing in of itself.

Remembering Fr Peter on this day of his 3rd anniversary. It's 3 years since he went to his eternal reward and took his place amongst the saints in heaven.
Fr Peter prayed with my son when he was very ill. Continue to intercede for us before the Lord and his Blessed Mother.

We miss Father Rookey a lot. Is there a movement to have him named a saint? If there is people need to know where to send their experiences with Father Rookey. Is anyone working on this????

On the annaversry of his departure from to his reward,as I do every day I will think of his beautiful smiling face and remember him at Mass. I feel he is a saint and has no need for my prayers, I trust he will take them to our Lord and Mary and apply them to some one in special need of his aid!
I love you dear holy friend and I will never forget you!
