Peter Pelc, age 91. Late of Homewood, Illinois formerly of Pullman and Roseland. Beloved husband of the late Barbara. Loving father of Karen, Steven, and Gayle. Devoted grandfather of Steven and Christina. Dearest companion of Buzz. Dear brother of the late George (late Margaret) and the late Andrew Pelc. Favorite uncle and cousin of many. Special friend of Elaine Beemsterboer. Veteran of the US Army. Pete was a retired employee of the Chicago Board of Education. He was a member of the American Legion Post #1070. Pete enjoyed bowling, golf, and his fishing retreat on the Wolf River in Wisconsin. He was a lifetime Bears and White Sox fan and friend to many. Visitation will be at Tews Ryan Funeral Home 18230 S. Dixie Hwy., Homewood, IL. on Friday, December 3, 2021 3-8 pm. Funeral Service Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10:00 am at Tews Ryan Funeral Home. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL.
