KOWALCZYK-Peter E. Kowalczyk, age 63, beloved husband for 42 years to Deborah, nee Kiers. Loving father of Dr. Jim (Jennifer) Kowalczyk and Alec (Sandy) Kowalczyk. Cherished grandfather of Samantha, Nicholas, and Abby. Dear son of Lillian Strasser and the late Ronald Kowalczyk. Fond brother of Veronica Schipitsch and David (Curt Johnson) Kowalczyk. Kind brother-in-law of Ruth (Bob) Regnerus, Marilee (Jim) Guthrie, Dean (Debbie) Kiers, and the late Mark (Trudy) Kiers and the late Bucky Kiers. Dearest uncle and great-uncle of many. Loving father figure to David Below. Pete was a strong supporter of Christian Education and Athletics. He was an avid Cubs fan. He also enjoyed his dogs, cars, and auto racing. Visitation Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 3-8 PM. Funeral Service Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to CCHS Athletic Boosters Club, 12001 S. Oak Park Ave., Palos Heights, IL 60463 are appreciated.
