Jasaitis, Peter A. age 85, of Griffith, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2007. He is survived by his daughters, Sandra Moran of Griffith, Karen Keonig of Bolingbrook, IL; grandchildren, Peter, Paul, Michael, Dawn and Beth; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Corrine and Jade; great-great-grandchildren, Elijah and Aryannah. Preceded in death by his parents, Ignatius and Elizabeth; wife, Adeline; brothers, Paul and Vic; and by his sister, Hattie. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 13, 2007, at 10 a.m., at the White Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Fr. Theodore Mens officiating. Burial will take place Friday afternoon at 1 p.m., at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 11100 S. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, IL. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, April 12th, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the White Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 921 W. 45th Ave., Griffith, IN. Peter was a WWII Army Air Force Veteran (79th Fighter Group). He was a retired Heavy Machinery Mover with the Teamsters Union, and he was a member of the Knights of Lithuania.
