Peter Jasaitis Obituary
Jasaitis, Peter A. age 85, of Griffith, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2007. He is survived by his daughters, Sandra Moran of Griffith, Karen Keonig of Bolingbrook, IL; grandchildren, Peter, Paul, Michael, Dawn and Beth; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Corrine and Jade; great-great-grandchildren, Elijah and Aryannah. Preceded in death by his parents, Ignatius and Elizabeth; wife, Adeline; brothers, Paul and Vic; and by his sister, Hattie. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 13, 2007, at 10 a.m., at the White Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Fr. Theodore Mens officiating. Burial will take place Friday afternoon at 1 p.m., at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 11100 S. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, IL. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, April 12th, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the White Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 921 W. 45th Ave., Griffith, IN. Peter was a WWII Army Air Force Veteran (79th Fighter Group). He was a retired Heavy Machinery Mover with the Teamsters Union, and he was a member of the Knights of Lithuania. Christ is risen! He is risen, indeed!! As a fellow Lithuanian I offer my condolences to the Jasaitis family. I, too, hope to buried at St. Casimir Cemetery.
