Fiala, Peter R. Panama Conflict Army Veteran, 11 year Veteran of the Tri-State Fire Protection District, beloved husband of Sheila (nee Montville), loving father of Raymond Joseph and Cole Peter, cherished son of Dolores and the late Raymond, dear brother of Barbara Pasternack, John, Michael, Bob (Dina) and Ken Kicmal, Jennifer (Michael) Wenzel, many nieces and nephews, proud godfather of Gillian Xin Ting Larson and Mia Bojorquez, cherished companion of Bosco, leaving behind many brothers and sisters of the Tri-State Fire Protection District. Funeral Tuesday, 9:45 a.m. from Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien to Our Lady of Peace Church, Mass 11:00 a.m. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a firefighter walk through at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to bring non perishable items to the Tri-State Fire Protection District, 419 Plainfield Rd., Darien, IL or Loyola Department of Surgery, 2160 S. 1st Ave., Maywood, IL appreciated. I am so sorry for your loss. I have many found memories of the 708 club. It was amazing to read all the great tributes. I am glad he became a fireman, I can't imagine a career better suited to him.
