Bortnichak, Peter 86 of Harwood Heights, passed away January 3, 2005; WWII U.S. Air Force Veteran; beloved husband of Angie (nee Stavonet) for 61 years; dear father of Mary and the late Linda Ross; loving grandfather of Kimberly Ross; great-grandfather of Emma Lusbatek; fond brother of Annie Fabiano, John Dyk, Dorothy Wojjas and the late Mae Jack, George Dziadyk, Olga Dziadyk, Nick Dziadyk, Walter Dziadyk and Helen Lipon. Memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 appreciated. Visitation Friday, 4 to 9 p.m. (Panachyda 7 p.m.) at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road (at Cumberland), Park Ridge. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Joseph Ukrainian Catholic Church. Funeral Liturgy 10 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
