Bolt Sr., Peter J. of Berwyn, IL, beloved husband of Mae (nee Ploegman), loving father of Peter (Marcia) Bolt Jr. and Ruth (Dave) Fazio, devoted grandfather of Melissa (Wes) Granger, Matt and Mike Bolt, Anthony, Jim and Thomas Fazio, fond brother of John (Midge) Bolt, dear brother-in-law of Peter (the late Delores), Fritz (Dorothy) and Ed (Barb) Ploegman and Dorathy (the late George) Bossenga, uncle of many nieces and nephews. Korean Conflict U.S. Navy Veteran. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m., Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd. (3 blks. S. of Roosevelt), Lombard. Memorial service Friday, 11:30 a.m., will be held at the 1st Reformed Church of Berwyn, 1900 S. Oak Park Ave., Berwyn, IL, 60402. Interment private. Dear Mae and family,
We remember all the great things Pete did for us when we were neighbors. The first sofa we had, the repairs to our garage foundation, his efforts in helping me find the boat that Vyto still has, and all the fishing camaraderie with Vyto, are just a few of the great memories we will carry with us always. We learned a great lesson in being good neighbors through his example.
