Dear Robin, Reese and Rod,
I just heard of your mother's passing last month. I remember her as a vital, kind and caring woman. I know she raised three fine men. Blessings on the Nesbitt clan.

Dear Rod--You probably don't remember me, since I was in a lower grade at Parker, but I remember you and how kind you were to me. I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. I did not know her, but I can't help but think that your kindness to me many years ago in some hard moments came in part from her. I will keep your family in my prayers. Many blessings.

Hello to the Nesbitt family. I am so
sorry to learn of Peggy's passing.
I always enjoyed visiting Peggy and Lendor, when Emily and I lived in Chicago, and then again when I moved
to Wisconsin. My prayers are with you
all.

Dear Robin, Reese and Rod,
I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was one of the great women of Parker. I hold such wonderful memories of all of you and your extended family. Parker would have not been the same without you all. I'm grateful for your presence in my life during those Parker years. My love to you all. Kim Thomas

Hey Rod and Reese ... it's been years, I know, but still my heart is with you. Too bad we leave it to times like these to say nice things but your family was a big part of my Parker experience. Thanks ... and hope things are going as well as they can be reasonably expected to.

Cheers,

Lawnin Crawford

In kindergarten in the 1950s, I learned an important lesson from Mrs. Nesbitt: you could earn the respect of others while being kind.

When I came to Parker in 1964, Mrs Nesbitt immediately welcomed me into Reese's class. He and I became friends in part because of her - how could the son of such a wonderful person be anything but OK?
I have often thought of her as well as Reese and Rod and wondered what has happened to the Nesbitt clan and where all the time has gone.
