Paula was my sorority sister, my roommate and my best friend in college. I have many fond memories of those times, The years have gone by but not those wondrous times. Long distance moved us apart but not the fun thoughts of those years. She had great strength of character and a truly splendid mind.. (una corley groves, Miami Florida)

Dear Nan, Kip, John, and Howard,
I have such amazing memories of your Mom during my growing up years in Glencoe. She was the first woman "activist" I knew and I imagine she set the tone for me for my future community work. And she was also the picture of beauty to me. I loved to watch Paula sit at her little desk in the bedroom doing her hair and make-up when I would have a "sleep-over" with Nan. And I loved to sit at your dining room table where I had my first "artichoke" and other wonderful treats that I had never tasted before. She was a wonderful person and I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss her too... even from a distance. All my condolences to you and your families and especially to Howard.
love,
Nancy Reinisch
